Pascal Grob is a Swiss fashion blogger via his site, Fashion Bits and Bobs.  He’s 21, and a bonafide Little Gentleman.  He’s sort of like Peter Pan mixed with one of Wes Anderson’s characters; AKA: would have been beaten up a lot in the town My Little Gentleman grew up in. There’s No Place Like Home is a photography collection of Yale students’ dorm rooms from the period between 1870 and 1910.  It’s fascinating to see how much effort went into these spaces, and the site has lots of information abotu the items you see in each room.   The site itself is slow to load and somewhat confusing to use, but worth the effort.  via Selectism.

Nice camera bag from Porter and Nikon. We here at My Little Gentleman always appreciate a bright- or light-colored interior to a bag for the visibility bonus when hunting for items within.  This bag also distinctly lacks both a camera-shape and prominent logos! Digital SLRs are great, film cameras are great.  What aren’t great are the straps they include, covered in slanty, ‘futuristic’ typefaces advertising exactly what brand and/or model of camera you’re using.  That’s handy only for two reasons: You’ve forgotten and need to know exactly what brand and/or model of camera you’re using. You’re around other photographers and you’re certain that your camera has more megapixels than theirs and want to flaunt it.  Cause you and I know it’s all about the megapixels.
