Our Board of Directors took a vote, and it turns out that tiny wallets for phones have never made much sense to us as a collective. These small form-fitting case-like accessories seem to be a middle layer between a case and a means of transportation. Sort of like wearing a Speedo under swim trunks.
However, when people like Landmarks & Lions make tiny phone wallets like these, it’s cause to reconsider our stance. More on their site, via this handy link.

Nike enlisted Jun Takahashi to come up with the Gyakusou project, which means semi-transparent, gossamer form-fitting running gear. M.L.G. seal of approval… stamped. In classic Nike collab form though, amazingly hard to find. There doesn’t seem to be an official site for it, so here are the Google results for you.

This new gear from Acronym is actually made for bicycling. Angled waistline on the shorts, longer sleeves on the jacket- we’re very much liking it except for the rave-inspired logo tags here and there. Available at Bench at the Greene. via Hypebeast.
From the creators of Chrome (who sold it a few years ago to a bigger company) comes Mission Workshop, a bag company making items in a not-surprisingly similar vein as Chrome’s lineup. Minimal, dark, hi-tech cycling-oriented backpacks and messenger bags. No seatbelt buckles in sight. Nice!
Good morning and happy Monday to everyone. Here’s a nice suitcase to look and start your week with. Wallpaper* magazine in conjunction with Globe Trotter. There’s also an accompanying ‘holdall’, though that name implies that it might indeed hold all. I have a feeling the holdall is actually a man-purse. via Selectism.
Fred Perry, favorite of the skinhead-style-polo-shirt set, and Japanese bagmakers Resistant have collaborated on this nice rolltop backpack. A good balance of old style, new materials, and a nearly-minimalist sensibility. The chest buckle is a nice touch. via Hypebeast.
