Archival Clothing’s got a nice green version of their duffel.  The red zipper tape makes the bag.  It looks about the perfect size for a weekend or overnight trip.

A subsect of current mens’ fashion is the 1930’s-canoe-guide look.  A bag like this befits that look, and will age very well.  This one is called The Great Outdoors, and the name behind it is Sketchbook.  Very similar to the Archival rucksack and the Brooks rucksack, but hey- everyone’s got particularities.  They’re on Etsy, give ‘em a look.  via GQ.

Brooks, the name usually associated with finer leather bike saddles, has on offer a rather nice rolltop backpack made of ‘water resistant cotton.’    via HB.

If you’ve been following MLG for a while, you know we’re proponents of backpacks.  Sometimes you need both hands while toting a bag, and a single strap is just plain uncomfortable.
Exciting simplicity comes in the form of this Archival Clothing backpack.  We’re taken by the subtle red stitching used sparingly.

As a source of constant mockery at least in the US, gentlemen everywhere are on the lookout for a masculine man-bag.  The kind you want to keep a laptop in, but also a notebook or two, a sweater, maybe some Xbox controllers (be honest).
Yuketen have produced this gem of a bag the likes of which may make Dr. Henry Jones Senior jealous.  It is perhaps the one bag to rule them all.  Available through Yuketen stockists.  via Selectism.

By now you’re aware that Your Little Gentleman is a fan of backpacks and day-use luggage in general.  This Seil Marschall canoe pack is a fetching example of exciting simplicity and craftsmanship.  Over 100 years old and handmade, this is one that’ll last you the rest of your life.  via Selectism.

While Your Little Gentleman is slightly anti-man-purse, a handbag, as opposed to a backpack or briefcase can be entirely acceptable and encouraged.  In this case (pun intended) this fine carryall from Filippa K takes the cake.  Unfortunately it’s already sold out, but worth mentioning in case more hit the stands.  Via Selectism.

This beauty is a product of collaboration between MUG, Porter, and Beauty & Youth, a Japanese retailer.  We’ve got nothing much to say about it except “yes, please!” via Hypebeast.

From the creators of Chrome (who sold it a few years ago to a bigger company) comes Mission Workshop, a bag company making items in a not-surprisingly similar vein as Chrome’s lineup.  Minimal, dark, hi-tech cycling-oriented backpacks and messenger bags.  No seatbelt buckles in sight.  Nice!
